Understanding the importance of data privacy and user autonomy, we've made it easier than ever to manage your bank connections. If you decide that you no longer want a bank account linked to Fortune, you can remove it yourself with just a few clicks.

Here's How You Can Disconnect a Bank Account:

Navigate to Institutions.

Select the bank account you wish to remove and choose Remove.

This action will disconnect the institution and clear all associated transaction data, balances, and other relevant information.

Enhanced Graphs: More Precision in Financial Metrics

We've also made key improvements to the precision of our financial metrics within our graphs. Previously, internal transfers—such as moving funds between connected banks or accounts within the same institution—would trigger entries as both an expense and an income. While this was technically correct and didn't affect the cash flow numbers, it inflated the income and expense metrics, making them harder to interpret and less reflective of actual expenditures and revenue.

Based on valuable user feedback, we've adjusted our metrics to omit these internal transfers from income and expense calculations. This change ensures that your financial graphs now reflect a more accurate and realistic view of your true financial activity, maintaining exact precision down to the cents.
